Detailed Enemy Profiles

Peasant

MeleeLow Threat

Basic foot soldiers. They march steadily toward your sanctuary in large numbers. Individually weak but dangerous in swarms.

Strategy: Area-of-effect spells handle them efficiently. A single tower can hold off early waves.

Torch Bearer

MeleeMedium Threat

Faster peasants carrying torches. They deal extra fire damage to your sanctuary and can ignite barriers.

Strategy: Prioritize these over regular peasants. Water-element runes and spells are effective.

Shield Bearer

MeleeMedium Threat

Heavy infantry with shields that block frontal attacks. They absorb massive damage from towers.

Strategy: Use flanking summons or area spells that bypass shields. Void runes pull them out of formation.

Archer

RangedMedium Threat

Ranged attackers that fire arrows at your sanctuary from a distance. They stop advancing once in range.

Strategy: Summons that engage them in melee neutralize their range advantage. Rush them down quickly.

Priest

SupportHigh Threat

Healers that restore nearby enemies. They stay behind the front line and dramatically increase wave durability.

Strategy: ALWAYS target priests first. Use long-range spells or void singularities to pull them forward.

Knight

MeleeHigh Threat

Elite warriors with heavy armor and high speed. They charge directly at your sanctuary and deal massive damage.

Strategy: Slow them with barriers and focus fire. Shadow Bind combo is extremely effective.

Mage

RangedHigh Threat

Enemy spellcasters that can disrupt your rune drawing with interference effects and deal area damage.

Strategy: Their disruption makes rune drawing harder. Kill them immediately or their interference will cascade.

Inquisitor

BossVery High Threat

Mini-boss enemy that appears at wave milestones. Leads an elite squad and has a holy aura that strengthens nearby enemies.

Strategy: Save your strongest combos for Inquisitors. Focus the Inquisitor — the aura buff drops when they die.

General Combat Tips

  • Priority targeting: Always kill Priests and Mages first. Support and disruption enemies are more dangerous than damage dealers.
  • Wave composition: Pay attention to what enemies appear together. Mixed waves require different strategies than pure melee or pure ranged waves.
  • Save combos for spikes: Don't waste your best rune combinations on easy waves. Save them for Knight rushes and Inquisitor appearances.
